Garage Sale Update

Several Pasadena residents have requested information on whether or not a one-time garage sale can be arranged for the community.

PasadenaEstates.org has been informed a change in the association documents would be necessary to permit such an event, which would require a membership referendum. There is no provision for a single garage sale date without formally amending the documents.

If you have any further questions, please contact members of the Association Board. E-mail us at PasadenaHOA@gmail.com.

Are You Recycling?

Conserving vital resources and keeping useful materials out of landfills is something everyone can practice every day just by taking care with what we throw away. The more we reuse and recycle, the smaller our impact on the environment.

Recycling services take certain kinds of rubbish materials and re-manufacture them into useful items. Recycling everything you can through curbside recycling saves energy and water and reduces landfill volume.

Curbside recycling-Items to put in your recycling bin:

Paper and cardboard
Glass bottles and jars
Plastic bottles
Other plastics
Aluminum cans and foil
Steel cans
Milk and juice cartons
Newspapers, paper and magazines

Recycle right - wrong materials in the recycling bin can contaminate the whole load, sending it to landfill. Note, contact your local recycler for specific types of plastic which can be successfully recycled.

What else can be recycled?

Besides what you place in your recycle bin you can also recycle other household items such as computers, and electronics you can drop off at :
Pompano Beach - 2780 N. Powerline Rd. (north of Copans Rd.). The site is open every Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

If you need a recycling bin call 954-797-1045 and one will be dropped off at your house.
